Working Student - Communications and Social Media (m/f/d)

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a creative, motivated and detail-oriented Working Student to join our Communications team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in communication tasks within a dynamic environment. If you are currently a student and eager to contribute while learning, we encourage you to apply.
You will be working directly with our founders and the Brand Communications Team and implement the DO’s storytelling, developing and sharing key messages across various platforms and multimedia formats, including LinkedIn, content marketing and thought leadership for senior business leaders.
You would own…
- Communications Management with focus social media: Produce and manage social media campaigns as well as newsletters to showcase what The DO does
- The DO’s day to day storytelling and content calendar: Produce weekly content for our founders and company channels
- Create visuals and write engaging content around our programs and frequent events that speak to our employees, our partners, and our broader community.
… and support
- Consistency in our branding and the creation of comms materials (digital and print), including the management and production of Google Slide Presentation Decks, Graphic Assets, and editorial material.
- Building a well structured and intuitive archive of Comms assets in our google drive
- Technical Infrastructure, Campaign Management and Cross Channel Maintenance
In this role, you will be part of the marketing and communications team and report directly to our head of brand communication and marketing.
ABOUT YOU
To thrive and grow in this role, you will likely be:
- A current student, pursuing a Master degree in Communication and Media or a related field or pursuing the last year of undergraduate degree (you must be enrolled to be considered)
- No prior experience is required, but a passion and drive for communications and project support in a fast-paced organization
- A gifted storyteller and marketer that knows how to simplify complex narratives into clear and credible communication assets that drive engagement on B2B Platforms.
- Fluency in English is required (C1 or native); German is a plus

- An eye for what’s visual appealing, attracts attention and communicates a strong story
- A talent to understand complex narratives and turn them into clear and tangible storylines
- A passion for impact business and the transformation of our economies
- Knowledge of Canva, Adobe Xd, Photoshop, low key video editing skills
Previous work experience in a communications is desired but not essential.
