Director Transformation & Employee Engagement (m/w/d)

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will develop, design and lead existing DO Catalyst projects and programs and facilitate teams through the co-creational journey. You will facilitate and manage internal and external stakeholders and provide strategic direction and content know-how, with a focus on sustainability and employee engagement.

You would own…

  • Relationship and stakeholder management including with C-level stakeholders on a high-quality level and act as a link between The DO project team, the partner team, the wider organization and external experts. Moreover, you will take the supervision lead on our project lead team members
  • Establish thought leadership and build new partnerships with ambitious commercial and impact goals with potential clients and grow existing partnerships through account ownership 
  • Manage ongoing partner relationships and support sales efforts, e.g. through proposals and pitches
  • Lead communication within the projects and partnerships in a strategic way and oriented towards senior decision-makers

… and develop

  • Your business development and partnership-building skills
  • Your expertise, network and tools in topics, such as sustainability and employee engagement

This is what you can expect…

In the first month, you will complete your onboarding, learn the nuts & bolts of The DO Programs and get to know the team

After three months, you will have established good working relationships with your external partners, start leading the internal team of project leaders, have taken over the program and stakeholder management for your program(s) and started to co-facilitate and design workshops.

After six months, you will have established a smooth workflow, operations and communication between internal and external program stakeholders and fully own program and stakeholder management for your program(s). Moreover, you will start launching new partnerships.

After one year, you will be fully at ease in your role as director; and will have started to look at your impact beyond immediate tasks, e.g. in terms of ecosystem and community building with our partners.

ABOUT YOU

To thrive and grow in this role, you will likely be: 

  • A practitioner experienced either in advising from outside or in leading change within companies with a focus on leading change
  • people manager, able to manage upwards (including with the partner) as well as different creative and project teams 
  • Experienced in developing strategy, handling the sales funnel, and positioning the team 
  • An outstanding communicator, able to communicate vision and strategy to different stakeholders, to translate it into different types of materials and to communicate the story behind brands and organizations
  • strategic thinker with a creative streak and a talent for building strong brands and narratives
  • An experienced program director who can oversee multiple client projects, who has preferably worked e.g. in agencies and/or consultancies 

… And will likely have:

  • Designed and delivered / facilitated high-quality trainings, workshops and programs (online and offline)
  • Been responsible for leading a project within a corporate or large organization
  • Worked with talent and next generation leaders
  • Managed a wide range of stakeholders, including at senior level
  • Equipped with knowledge of innovation methodologies such as design thinking
  • Purpose-driven with a passion for working and developing people
  • Empathetic, open-minded and flexible
  • A clear communicator both orally, in your day-to-day communication and in the production of written materials geared at different types of audiences
  • Fluent in German and English (verbal and written)
  • Worked in large, complex organizations and fast-paced and international environments 

Ideally, you might also have experience in … 

  • Change management, organizational development, training or innovation
  • Co-creation projects involving internal and external stakeholder
  • Different methods and models of communication, coaching and design.
