Client Services Director (m/f/d)

ABOUT THE ROLE
At The DO, we believe in creating impactful transformations which make the world a better place. Based in our Berlin office, you will take responsibility for developing commercial strategy and driving growth in your area. Furthermore we work with our clients as partners in co-creation processes. You will use your expertise to guide our partners and program leads towards impactful and successful transformations.
You would own…
- Relationship and stakeholder management including with C-level stakeholders on a high-quality level and act as a link between The DO project team, the partner team, the wider organization and external experts
- Drive growth in your area of The DO, taking responsibility for seven fi gure turnover. We are proud of our fl exible, entrepreneurial work culture, and will give you maximum freedom to make decisions as you see fit
- Manage ongoing partner relationships and support sales efforts, e.g. through proposals and pitches. You will be based mainly in our Berlin office, traveling occasionally to meet our partners in Germany
- Lead communication within the projects and partnerships in a strategic way and oriented towards senior decision-makers
- Establish thought leadership and build new partnerships with ambitious commercial and impact goals with potential clients and grow existing partnerships through account ownership

This is what you can expect…
In the first month, you will complete your onboarding, learn the nuts & bolts of The DO Programs and get to know the team
After three months, you will have established good working relationships with your external partners, start leading the internal team of project leaders, have taken over the program and stakeholder management for your program(s) and started to co-facilitate and design workshops.
After six months, you will have established a smooth workfl ow, operations and communication between internal and external program stakeholders and fully own program and stakeholder management for your program(s). Moreover, you will start launching new partnerships.
After one year, you will be fully at ease in your role as director; and will have started to look at your impact beyond immediate tasks, e.g. in terms of ecosystem and community building with our partners.
ABOUT YOU
To thrive and grow in this role, you will likely be:
- An experienced practitioner, with at least 10 years experience either in advising from outside or in leading change within companies
- An empowering leader, providing knowledge and guidance to a team of highly motivated, purpose driven program leads
- Well versed in developing strategy, handling the sales funnel, and positioning the team
- An outstanding communicator, able to communicate vision and strategy to different stakeholders
- An expert in your fi eld, able to provide thought leadership and guidance in a selection of the following areas: executive leadership, employee engagement, movement-building, change management or innovation
… And will likely have:
- Designed and delivered / facilitated high-quality trainings, workshops and programs (online and offline)
- Been responsible for leading a project within a corporate or large organization
- Worked with talented, next generation leaders
- Managed and led co-creation projects with a wide range of stakeholders, including at senior level
- Equipped with knowledge of innovation methodologies such as design thinking
- Purpose-driven with a passion for working and developing people
- Empathetic, open-minded and flexible
- Fluent in German and English (verbal and written)
- Worked in high growth, international environments
- Focus on organizational development, sustainability or people projects
Ideally, you might also have experience in …
