Count Us In Project Coordinator - Business & Employee Engagement
Based in Berlin, DE and/or London, UK (hybrid work model), full-time
Starting immediately
About The Project
Count Us In is an ambitious, collaborative ten-year movement (2020-2030) to inspire people to significantly reduce their carbon emissions and challenge leaders to act boldly to deliver global systems of change. We focus on a mass audience – people aware but not yet active in taking action. Count Us In was initiated by a diverse group of organizations committed to incubating a global community that goes beyond a single name, brand or organizational objective. We’re a small leadership team working remotely across different time-zones.
About the Role
Count Us In focuses on reaching people through trusted relationships in their lives. To date, we have launched several impactful campaigns and collaborative initiatives (for example alongside Netflix titles, as well as on football and motorsport). Our third area of focus is business engagement, specifically delivering Count Us In’s ‘theory of change’ by empowering businesses with tools and knowledge to meaningfully engage their employees on climate action.
As a Project Coordinator, you will support Business and Employee Engagement at Count Us In and will play an instrumental role in raising ambition and establishing employee engagement on climate as a norm, alongside our partners. If you want to make a real impact on climate change and are enthusiastic about working for a purpose driven collaborative movement, we want to hear from you. Count Us In offers a unique learning opportunity in a complex, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities include:
●Driving all operational aspects of the Count Us In Employee Challenge, with full visibility on stakeholder participation and engagement.
●Building relationships and communicating with potential and existing partners about their needs, engagement plans, and ways to leverage Count Us In.
●Actively supporting partners and the team through end-to-end project management, including planning and delivering key milestones, preparing documentation, capturing data and insights and communicating learnings effectively.
●Executing day-to-day administrative tasks such as managing agendas, schedules, and research.
●Holding the management and improvement of all processes used to track status of partner relationships.
Requirements
To thrive and grow in this role, you will need:
●Minimum 2-3 years project management experience. Experience in environmental/climate change projects preferred.
●Experience in managing multiple projects efficiently, with great focus and attention to detail.
●Adaptive to changing environments and creative with solutions.
●Altruistic and relational, with team-management and leadership skills.
●Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
●Flexible and willing to help out in times of need – including out-of-hours and weekend work.
Note: Flexible working from Berlin, Germany or London, UK, subject to pre-existing eligibility to work in said location.
This profile draws on our experience of people who have been successful in this role in the past. We warmly encourage you to apply if you feel your experience and skills equip you for this job but are not listed here!
